Bagley vs. Red Lake County

The Red Lake County Rebels scored five runs in the first inning and went on to defeat the Bagley Flyers 10-3 to win the Section 8A championship in Crookston. Colin Taggart went 4 for 4 at the plate for the defending state champion Rebels as they improve to 25-2 overall. Kegan Schmitz went 3 for 4 at the plate for the Rebels and drove in and scored two runs. Boe Nelson picked up the win on the mound as Red Lake County will be making their second straight trip to the State Baseball Tournament. Ian Phrakonkham went 4 for 4 at the plate for Bagley as the Flyers end their season at 15-9. Gunner Nolan added three hits for the Flyers. The Rebels had 15 hits in the game while Bagley had 12 hits. It was the second win for Red Lake County over Bagley in the tournament as the Rebels won 5-1 on Saturday.
