I-29 Fatality

A Fargo man was struck by a semi and killed on Interstate 29 early Friday morning near Argusville.  The North Dakota State Patrol says around 3:45am, a Freightliner pulling a utility van trailer was southbound on I-29 near mile marker 79 when a pedestrian entered the roadway.  The Freightliner hit the 71-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of the Freightliner, a 45-year-old man from Saint Cloud, was not injured.  The North Dakota State Patrol is investigating the accident.  No names have been released.
