Ada Mayor Hintz Won’t Run For Another Term; Announces Run For Norman County Commission Seat
ADA, MN—Ada will have a new mayor in 2027. In a Facebook post Monday night, Ada Mayor John Hintz announced he would not run for re-election in November after 12 years as mayor. In the same Facebook post, Hintz announced he is running for the District 4 seat on the Norman County Commission. Hintz said “While one chapter closes, I am looking forward to the new opportunities and challenges on the horizon.” The District 4 Norman County Commission seat is currently held by Lee Ann Hall, who announced earlier that she would not run for re-election.
