White Earth Election Results

Challenger Jacob McArthur defeated incumbent Michael “Mike” LaRoque to win the White Earth secretary-treasurer position. McArthur received 1065 votes to 664 for LaRoque.

There were also two races for seats on the White Earth Tribal Council. In District 1, incumbent Henry G. Fox received 198 votes to defeat challenger Andy “Jack” Auginaush, who had 185 votes.

And in District 2, Alrick “Son” Accobee received 470 votes to defeat Sheri Kay Snetsinger, who had 235 votes. Accobee will succeed Eugene Sommers, who did not file for re-election.

All three won four year terms in office.
