Heroes on Wheels Event
ADA,MN — The 2nd annual Honoring Heroes on Wheels Run in Memory of Cody Holte was held on Saturday with an excellent turnout. Lori Pladson with Twisted Sisters Pub 21 in Ada says after the success of last year’s inaugural event, they needed to set up a board to oversee the event for year two.
The Heroes on Wheels event started and ended at Twisted Sisters Pub 21 in Ada, with stops at Tap That in Hillsboro, Outback Saloon in Georgetown, Felton Bar and Grill, and Twin Valley Liquor Store.
Carl Swenson says participation increased immensely in year two of the event.
Preliminary numbers showed around $30,000 was raised from the event. Pladson explains where the funds will go.
Swenson says there was a local hero celebrated with the event as well.
