Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home sold to Anderson Family Funeral Homes 

After 33 years serving the Ada and the surrounding area, Mike and Dawn Ganje of Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home in Ada will be retiring from the funeral business at the end month. R&J News had the chance to catch up with Mike and Dawn, who reflect on the past 33 years, their decision to retire. 

While they will no longer be in charge, the Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home legacy will live on, as Anderson Family Funeral Homes of Twin Valley, Mahnomen and Winger will be taking over the business. Anderson Family Funeral Homes owner Kelly Woltjer says she’s very excited for this new opportunity. 

As for operations moving forward, Woltjer says the Ada, Fertile and Halstad communities can expect to see no major changes in the services offered by Fredrikson-Ganje. 

Woltjer says  the Ada, Fertile and Halstad communities can also expect family focused services from them at Anderson Funeral Homes. 

As for what’s next for Mike and Dawn, the pair said they’re very excited for retirement, and the opportunity to spend more time with family.

Anderson Family Funeral Home will assume operations of Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 1.
