As use continues to rise, e-bike safety becoming more important 

E-Bikes have gotten more and more popular over the years, and as the popularity has risen, use among youth has also increased. For this reason, SAFE Kids Grand Forks is encouraging parents to take the proper steps and make sure their children are using them safely and properly. To get a better explanation of what an e-bike is, Tina Sanders of SAFE Kids Grand Forks explains how they work, and how they’re different from other motorbikes, as they often look similar. 

When it comes to e-bike safety, Sanders says there are many things to keep in mind. 

If you are of age to drive an e-bike, Sanders says you must follow the rules of the road, just like every other motorist and cyclist.
