Mahnomen City Council Meets

MAHNOMEN, MN—Monday night’s Mahnomen City Council meeting covered several items.  Mahnomen City Administrator Taylor Guenther says the Council considered an ordinance that bans parking in front of any official mailbox.

The ordinance will be posted on the City of Mahnomen website for ten days and then will be considered at a future City Council meeting.  Guenther also gave an update on a construction project that will start soon on Highway 59.

Guenther also says Mahnomen will have some new decorations on Main Street.

And next week Mahnomen’s city website will be changed to dot gov, per state mandate.
