Minnesota Cattlemen insulted by Tariff-Free Beef Imports
The Minnesota Cattlemen’s Association is pushing back against the Trump Administration after they made the decision to import foreign beef on a tariff-free basis, as a way to drive beef prices down. Thompson says moves like this makes it so people don’t want to go into the beef sector, despite it being a time where the US herd size is low.
Thompson says another thing that has to be considered in the quality of foreign beef, which does not compare to domestic beef.
