Shed Fire North Of Ulen

ULEN, MN—Firefighters are still working to put out a fire that started Sunday afternoon at a shed north of Ulen.  Ulen Assistant Fire Chief Kelly Jacobson tells R&J News 5000 square bales of hay caught fire Sunday afternoon at a shed two miles north of Ulen.  As a result of all that dry hay, Jacobson says firefighters “are going to be here for a few days.”  Jacobson says no one has been injured from the fire…and he’s grateful for the support his department has received from other local fire departments.
