Dolly Parton’s Legacy to live on through the Imagination Library
On Tuesday, Country Music Icon Dolly Parton passed away at the age of 80, and while her legacy will continue to live through her music, another way it will continue to live on is through The Dolly Parton Imagination Library program. Abbie Bennefeld, who oversees the program in Norman County says the Imagination Library was started by Dolly, as a way to foster a love of reading in children.
Bennefeld says the Imagination Library has been widely utilized by children across Norman County.
If you would like to honor Dolly by making a donation to the Imagination Library, Bennefeld explains how you can do so.
