RRV Sugarbeet Crop showing good potential
Surgarbeet Planting has passed, and signs are starting to point toward a good growing season. American Crystal Sugar General Agronomist Joe Hastings is happy to report that replanting was minimal, and that planting went well all things considered.
Hastings says that signs are pointing to a crop with a lot of potential.
Peakfly was a major concern for producers heading into the summer, and Hastings says they are still waiting on data, but expects that counts will be higher than last year.
