Norman-Polk Extension seeking applicants for Master Gardener Program 

Over the last few weeks R&J has been reporting the struggles farmers have been experiencing due to drought, but how are local gardeners faring this year? Heather Dufault of Polk/Norman County Extension says it has also been a tough year for gardeners. 

In other extension news, Dufalut says the Master Gardener Volunteer program is currently seeking people to join them. To get a better understanding of this program, Dufault explains what this program does.
