Norman County Fair kicks off today 

After months of hard work by the Norman County Fairboard, the 130th Annual Norman County County Fair is here, and set to kick off this afternoon. Norman County Fairboard representatives Don Merkens and Amy Germolus says Wednesday’s schedule includes a free musical performance by the Mooncats among other fun activities. 

Over the last few years, the fairboard has been consistently adding to their entertainment lineup, and Merkens says they will be welcoming a number of different acts to the Tommy Roesch Memorial Stage. 

A lot of work gets done behind the scenes leading up to the fair, especially when it comes to the fairgrounds itself, Merkens says the fairgrounds look great heading into opening day.
