Options Interstate Resource Center to host pair of assisted hunts 

Options Interstate Resource Center for Independent Living is once again hosting their annual deer hunt for people with disabilities coming up next month from October 15-17 at Rydell National Wildlife Refuge in Mentor, Minnesota. This will be their 31st edition of the event which is designed to help people with disabilities or those experiencing the fragility of aging to get back out and do the activities they love to do most. Heather Everson spoke with Aaron Feeley of R&J News to discuss the event earlier this week, who said that the event is still looking for volunteers interested in helping out and where those with interest can reach out to get involved.

There will also be an archery hunt with 4 openings, 2 reserved for veterans, taking place October 8-10 in East Grand Forks. Heather made sure to let everyone know where to go to sign up for both hunts if interested.
