Tommy Houdek named next President/CEO of Wild Rice Electric Cooperative 

Earlier this week, Wild Rice Electric Cooperative announced that Tommy Houdek, their current Director of Member Services & Communications has been named the cooperatives next President and CEO after the retirement of Mike Wade. R&J News had the chance to catch up with Houdek, who says he’s really excited for what the future holds. 

While he has been at Wild Rice Electric for about 11 years, Houdek says his history with the cooperative goes back way further. 

Houdek says some of his priorities as President/CEO will be to further build on the engagement between the co-op and its members, and community. 

Hodek will assume the role of President and CEO on Wednesday, July 15.
