Clay County Fair kicks off Thursday 

It’s a busy week for county fairs in the Red River Valley, as the annual Clay County Fair will be kicking off on Thursday in Barnesville. Clay County Fairboard Secretary Treasurer James Kruize says they will be introducing some new events, alongside some of their old favorites, including a series of free events and attractions. 

Kruize says Clay County 4H also has a lot going on at the fair this year. 

Kruize says the fairboard is also bringing in a lot of family friendly programming to this year’s Clay County Fair.
