Polk County Sheriff’s Office Gearing up for Polk County Fair, encouraging families to come up with a plan 

The Polk County Fair will officially kick off tomorrow (Wednesday), and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office is encouraging families to come up with a plan before you leave for the fair. Polk County Sheriff Jim Tadman says this could help if your child wanders off, or gets lost. 

Tadman says you should also take a photo of your child before you leave, as well as put together a description. 

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office will be patrolling the Polk County Fairgrounds during the fair, and can assist you if your child becomes lost.
