Fertile City Council Meets
FERTILE, MN—The majority of Monday night’s Fertile City Council meeting dealt with a highway project that was supposed to have happened two years ago and now won’t happen until 2030. Fertile Mayor Brian Nephew says a project manager with MnDOT spoke to the Council about work to be done on Highway 32, which is the primary road through Fertile.
MnDOT took notes on the feedback they received from the Council and Fertile residents and will come back with an updated construction plan.
Also at Monday’s Fertile City Council meeting, it was learned that the City’s water was turned off for about ten minutes Saturday. Nephew tells us what happened.
Nephew says the City’s water supply wasn’t affected and the water is running in Fertile like normal.
