Serratore To Retire As BSU Men’s Hockey Coach

BEMIDJI, MN—There will be a changing of the guard for the Bemidji State men’s hockey program.  Coach Tom Serratore will retire after this season with associate head coach Travis Winter to succeed Serratore.  This will be Serratore’s 26th season in charge of the Beavers.  He coached the Beavers as they moved from Division 3, to Division 2 to Division 1 play.  Serratore led his teams to 7 conference championships, 6 NCAA tournament appearances and the NCAA Frozen Four in 2009.  Bemidji State’s men’s hockey team opens its season October 3 against St. Cloud State at the Sanford Center.
