Mahnomen City Council Meets Monday

MAHNOMEN, MN—The Mahnomen City Council will meet Monday night.  Like all Minnesota cities, Mahnomen must set a preliminary tax levy in September.  The Mahnomen City Council will review its 2027 budget and set that levy at tonight’s meeting.  The Council has been asked to write a letter of commitment for a proposed workforce center at White Earth Technical College. The Mahnomen City Council will consider bids to remove ash trees in the city, as well as a bid for the city’s River Park Project and a bid for a lobbyist to work on behalf of the Mahnomen Hospital for additional state and federal funding for the hospital portion of the project.  Monday’s Mahnomen City Council meeting starts at 5:30 at the Fire Hall meeting room.
