Twin Valley and Gary Fire Departments receive grants Through FEMA

The Twin Valley and Gary Fire Department are set to receive substantial funding through FEMA. Gary Fire Chief Buck Engen tells us more about the funding the Gary Fire Department will be receiving. 

Twin Valley Fire Chief Pete Pazdernik says this grant has been years in the making, and that his Department was in desperate need of new gear due to the age of their old stuff. 

Pazderik tells us what they were awarded for the grant, and how much they will be able to replace. 

Engen says this funding goes a long way, as they would’ve had to budget for years to replace their out of compliant gear. 

Again, in total the two departments are set to receive over $500,000 in federal funding.
