Ada’s Doug Peterson attends Veterans Honor Flight

The Honor Flight of ND/MN held their most recent flight out to Washington DC last weekend, and one of the many area attendees was Ada’s very own Doug Peterson. R&J News had the opportunity to catch up with Peterson who shares his overall thoughts on the trip.

Peterson says one of the highlights for him was their visit to the Vietnam Memorial, as that was the war he served in.

Peterson says the welcome home ceremony at Hector International Airport was also a special moment for him.

R&J News will have more with Doug in future newscasts this week.
