Clearwater Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club Hosts 40th Anniversary Celebration Saturday

BAGLEY, MN — The Clearwater Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club is celebrating 40 years with a special anniversary event on Saturday, October 3, at the Bagley American Legion Hall.

Founded four decades ago after its initial meeting, the club has grown from a local startup to maintaining 198 miles of scenic trails. Sharon Dyrdahl, who served as the club’s very first secretary-treasurer, reflected on how far the organization has come. “It’s wonderful that our club has stayed together for 40 years, made our trails a lot better… and made it safer,” Dyrdahl said.

The evening kicks off at 6:00 p.m. with a dinner and program for all past and present club members. The program will feature guest speaker Terry Hoie, the club’s first president, and will recognize former and current officers, directors, and groomer operators. Former and current members planning to attend the dinner are asked to RSVP to Sharon Dyrdahl at 218-766-5560.

Starting at 8:00 p.m., the doors open to the public for a night of music and dancing with DMS Entertainment running until midnight. Everyone in the community is welcome to attend the dance, and door prizes will be given away throughout the evening.
