Corn/Sugarbeet Harvest Update

The Sugarbeet Harvest continues to chug along across the Red River Valley, but for many area producers, they’re moving into the final stages of sugarbeet harvest, and will soon be moving onto corn. Ada area farmer Paul Johnson says he is close to wrapping up sugarbeet harvest.

When it comes to the sugarbeet crop itself, Johnson says the recent rains helped put some weight on the crop.

Once he’s done with sugarbeets, Johnson says he will then move onto corn, and he tells us how that crop is shaping up as well.
