Lakes Area Yes Network providing opportunities to area students

Keeping children busy during the summertime can often be a difficult time for some families, and over the years the Lakes Area Yes Network has been helping families access summer programming in the communities of Detroit Lakes, Callaway, and White Earth. R&J News had the opportunity to catch up with Yes Network Program Director Mike Labine, who tells us more about the founding of Yes Network, and their mission.

Labine says the programming offered through Yes Network is all about giving kids a great experience, and they’re able to do that by partnering with area organizations.

Yes Network’s staff is made up of many local teens and young adults, and Labine says this is a benefit, as they get involved with kids during programs, and serve as great role models.
