Ruffed Grouse Roadhouse Prepares for 6th Annual Halloween Spooktacular

Local Halloween enthusiasts have a reason to finish assembling their costumes this week as the Ruffed Grouse Roadhouse prepares to host its 6th Annual Spooktacular on Saturday, October 31. The evening’s festivities will open at 6 p.m., giving early arrivals plenty of time to claim a spot and settle in before the main event: the official costume contest, which officially kicks off at 9 p.m.

Costume creativity will be heavily rewarded throughout the night, with organizers putting up $500 in total cash prizes. Attendees looking to walk away with a share of the purse will compete across four distinct contest categories: Funniest, Best Group, Sexiest, and Spookiest. Roadhouse organizers emphasize that dressing up to impress, or disturb, is welcomed, though costumes are entirely optional for those who simply want to take in the atmosphere.

The roadhouse staff themselves are also planning to join the festivities, but you’ll have to show up to find out what costumes they’ll be wearing. Guests are encouraged to arrive well ahead of the 9 p.m. contest start to beat the rush and secure prime seating.
