Clay County Pumpkin Composting

Now that Halloween is over, you’re probably thinking about throwing out the pumpkins you have around the house.  Clay County’s Solid Waste Department is accepting pumpkins now through November 14 for composting.  Mara DeRung is Clay County’s recycling outreach educator.

You can drop off your pumpkins at these locations:

Moorhead: 700 15th Avenue. N., 23rd St. S. & 40th Avenue, 418 Elm Street S., 3322 15th Avenue N.

Barnesville: 205 Front Street N.

Dilworth: 600 Center Avenue W.

Georgetown: 127 Main Street

Glyndon: 18 3rd Street SE

Hawley: 716 Front Street

Hitterdal: South side of recycling center

Sabin: 6 Main Street

Ulen: 116 NP Avenue W.
