Fosston City Council Amends Lot Size Ordinance, Talks Wastewater Expansion

During their regular monthly meeting February 7th, Fosston City Council held a public hearing and then considered amending the Fosston city zoning map in relation to the parcel known as the Rue land. As City Administrator Cassie Heide explains, the hearing was continued until Monday, Febuary 14th at 6:00 pm when the council is expected to take formal action.
This month’s Fosston City Council meeting also included a public informational meeting to discuss the city’s plans for wastewater system improvements.
Fosston City Council adopted an amendment to the ordinance regarding minimum lot size in the city.
In other action, Fosston City Council approved a request for financial support in the amount of $1,000 for the Fosston Senior Meal program.
