Deerwood City Council meeting set for April 4th

(Deerwood, MN) — The Deerwood City Council meeting Monday will hold a Public hearing and post a personnel opening from the Council Chambers of the Deerwood Auditorium.

The Council will be looking to approve a resolution of a donation from Steve’s Drafting and the resignation of an office assistant.

Mary Reed from CliftonLarsonAllen will present their audit review for the City of Deerwood followed by a Public Hearing at 6:30pm to close out of activities of the SCDP Comprehensive and Public Facilities. 

The Crosby-Ironton High School National Honor Society will speak to the Council on their Food Pantry Project.

Further into the meeting, the Council will decide upon resolutions for the Fee Schedule and the Premise Permit Application for the Crosby-Ironton Quarterback Club. Decisions will also be made on the City’s fireworks contract with North Star Fireworks LLC as well as the posting for the Office Assistant Open Position. 

Department Reports will also be given on behalf of the Fire Department, Police Department, Public Works, Administration, and the Mayor/Council will discuss the Deerwood Sesquicentennial Celebration. 

The Deerwood City Council meets at 6pm Monday night at the Deerwood Auditorium.
