Rainy River SB at Mesabi Range CC Game 1

The Rainy River softball season also came to a close over the weekend.  On Saturday, the Voyageurs traveled to the Range to face Mesabi Range in a doubleheader.  In Game 1, Rainy outhit the Norsewomen 12-11 and scored 12 runs in the 4^th inning, but it wasn’t enough in a 15-14 loss.  Valerie Sandoval went 4-5 with 2 doubles, 2 RBI and 3 runs scored.  Jordan Cobbe had 2 hits including a home run and 3 RBI.  Presley Frost and Tyre’auna Jones both added 2 hits.
