Wake The Lakes Moron Lawbreaker for the Week: ‘NY Man tries to sneak snakes in pants over U.S. Border’

A New York man’s trouser snakes have gotten him into big trouble with border police.  36-year-old Calvin Bautista of Queens, New York allegedly boarded a bus in Canada with three Burmese pythons stuffed into his pants and tried to carry them over the border into New York. But border patrol officers caught him and confiscated the reptiles. Bautista was arrested and is facing up to 20 years in jail and a $250,000 fine. It’s unclear how big the snakes were, but Burmese pythons are one of the largest species of snakes and can grow to be 16 feet long. They are not venomous, but are still considered to be dangerous.
