The reigning Class B Champion Four Winds Minnewaukan Indians (currently ranked #1 in the class B poll) extend their winning streak to 34 games, as they pull away from Hillsboro Central Valley Burros on Friday night. The defensive pressure from the Indians proved to be too much down the stretch. Hillsboro Central Valley answered the punches early, trailing by three points at the end of the first quarter, cutting the lead to 8 points at halftime. The Burros kept the game within 8 to 10 points, until the 5 minute mark of the 4th quarter when the Indians make their run, forcing three turnovers and scoring on all three, stretching the lead to as much as 22 points and picking up the road victory.
