Six More Weeks Of Winter??
With this being Groundhog Day, you might be wondering if we’ll have six more weeks of winter or if spring is about to start. Rather than consult a groundhog, R&J News reached out to Mindy Beerends, meteorologist in charge at the National Weather Service in Grand Forks.
And what about precipitation over the next few weeks?
Beerends was also asked if the snowfall this winter will help ease the drought in the region.
For the record, the famous groundhog Punxatawney Phil did see his shadow today.
