The Fosston Greyhounds jumped out to a 19-0 lead and cruised to the 78-26 win over Bagley Thursday at the Fosston Gym. The Greyhounds held the Flyers scoreless for the first 6:56 of the game and took a 44-8 lead into halftime. Kinsley Duppong hit five 3 pointers and scored 25 points as the Greyhounds won their ninth straight game and improved to 22-3 overall. Katelyn Vesledahl added 20 points for Fosston with Brynlea Mahlen scoring six points for the Greyhounds. Kathryn Agnew led Bagley with 9 points and Shayla Hvezda added 5 points as the Flyers end their season with an overall record of 6-22. It was the third time the Greyhounds defeated the Flyers this season. The Greyhounds will now face the Fertile-Beltrami Falcons in the Section 8A Quarterfinals on Saturday, March 4th in Thief River Falls. (1:45 pm on 96.7 FM and YLE). The Greyhounds and Falcons split their two games during the regular Season.
