Goose River Rises At Hillsboro

HILLSBORO, ND—The Goose River at Hillsboro has risen sharply since Tuesday–around four feet.  As of 2:15 Wednesday afternoon, the National Weather Service says the Goose is at just over eleven feet–more than a foot above flood stage.  The forecast says the Goose will crest at 13 and a half feet early Friday morning and then recede to below flood stage by Sunday afternoon.
