“Moron Lawbreaker of the Week” 5-9-23
Police love it when criminals make their job easier for them, and a fugitive on the Boston Police Department’s “Most Wanted” list gave himself up with a tattoo he probably wishes he never got. 40-year-old Francisco Mahon was wanted in connection with a robbery that took place in January where he allegedly stole jewelry and a wallet from a man and threatened him with a knife. He was never found and his name was added to the “Most Wanted” list. But then officers with the department’s Fugitive Unit happened to notice a man fitting Mahon’s description on the street and thought it might be him. They got a little closer and were then certain it was him because he had his name tattooed on his neck. His identity was conformed and he was placed under arrest.
