One Arrested In Thief River Falls Murder

THIEF RIVER FALLS, MN—There has been an arrest in connection with a murder in Thief River Falls.  Pennington County law enforcement says they were called around 9pm Tuesday to the Digi-Key Corporation in the 700 block of Brooks Avenue South for a report of a dead man’s body.  It was determined the man died by homicide.  32-year-old Jorge Benitez-Estremera has been arrested and charged with second degree murder in connection with this case.  He’s in custody in the Pennington County Jail.  The victim’s name has not been released pending notification of relatives.  More details on the man’s death have not been released.
