The Ada-Borup-West Cougars scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat the West Marshall Fusion 7-6 to advance in the Section 8A Baseball Tournament at Bemidji State University. Cannon Anderson drove in Lance Kritzberger with the game winning run with a single in the bottom of the seventh. Barren Odden tossed a complete game to pick up the win on the mound for the Cougars as they improve their overall record to 14-6. Caspar Kritzberger, Barren Odden and Cameron Spaeth each had two hits for Ada-Borup-West while six different batters had one hit apiece for the Fusion. West Marshall ends their season with an overall record of 17-6 and it was the second time in less than a week the Cougars defeated West Marshall in tournament play.
