Sen. Klobuchar Speaks At Moe Library Dedication
CROOKSTON, MN—Many dignitaries made the trip to Crookston Friday for the renaming of the University of Minnesota-Crookston library in honor of former Minnesota State Senator Roger Moe. The guest who made the extra effort was Minnesota US Senator Amy Klobuchar, who left following a vote on the Senate floor about the debt ceiling.
Klobuchar says Moe was a mentor to her early in her political career.
Roger Moe represented northwest Minnesota in the State Senate for 32 years–22 of those as Senate Majority Leader. Before going into politics, Moe was a math teacher and wrestling coach at Ada High School.
