Princess Kay Visits Norman County Fair

One of Thursday’s visitors to the Norman County Fair was Princess Kay of the Milky Way, goodwill ambassador for the Minnesota dairy industry. Rachel Rynda, this year’s Princess Kay of the Milky Way, showed Norman County Fair visitors how to milk a cow and talked about what dairy farmers do.  She says meeting people is what she likes best about her job.

Rynda says she grew up on a dairy farm in Montgomery in southern Minnesota.

Rachel Rynda will continue touring Minnesota until her reign as Princess Kay ends in August, just before the Minnesota State Fair.
