Lake Park American Legion Rebuild Receives $20,000 Donation

Here’s an update to a story R&J News has been following.  Lakes Community Co-op has made a donation to help rebuild the Lake Park American Legion building.  Lakes Community Co-op General Manager Dave Blomseth talks about the donation.

The Lake Park American Legion building was destroyed in a fire in March 2022.  Blomseth says the Legion matters to people in Lake Park and to Lakes Community Co-op.

Construction on the new Lake Park American Legion building is under way.  The Legion’s goal is to raise $400,000 for construction.  The Legion’s next fundraiser will be at Cormorant Daze on Saturday, August 19.
