Fallen Police Officer

Fallen Fargo police officer and Minnesota native Jake Wallin will be laid to rest Saturday in Nisswa. The public is invited to pay their respects and show support to his loved ones by witnessing his escort along highways 210 & 371 that morning. Wallin’s body will be escorted from Fargo to Pequot Lakes prior to his 10:30am funeral at the Pequot Lakes High School Athletic Complex. The route will take the procession through Baxter, Nisswa, and Pequot Lakes. Estimated arrival times are 8:15 a.m. for Baxter, 8:25 a.m. for Nisswa and 8:35 a.m. for Pequot Lakes.
The internment, which will follow the funeral, is private. The public is asked to respect the privacy of family and friends as they grieve and say goodbye.
