Red Lake Falls School Board Meeting Recap

City Administrator Kathleen Schmitz fills us in on the July 25th Board Meeting. On this months agenda Jim Trojanowski from NW Regional Library was looking for a 3% increase for budget. 2 Bars looking for an off premises licensing for Summerfest. Donations for the pool, fire department and flower planters were approved. people from the community and business.

On the Engineers Report- Water tower painting has begun. This is a new and exciting project. Hamilton project will be bid next year. They are looking at a natural flower pond culvert project.

Conversations in planning and zoning about Marijuana and how to approach its use in the community was also discussed. With college kids going back to school there is a possibility of closing the pool down early this summer. Monday August 14th is the next scheduled meeting at 6:00.
