Ada-Borup-West School Board Meets

The Ada-Borup-West School Board held its September meeting Tuesday morning.  Superintendent Aaron Cook says the new school year is off to a good start.

Cook also says enrollment is up from a year ago.

K-through-12 enrollment at Ada-Borup-West is 637, compared to 628 last year.  Plus, there’s another 37 in preschool and 24 in early childhood.  Cook says the district has good news on test scores.

The ABW School Board also set a preliminary tax levy for the upcoming fiscal year with a 6 to 7 percent increase.  The official levy will be set in December—and cannot be higher than the preliminary levy.
