Traill County Seeks Sheriff’s Deputies, Dispatchers

The Traill County Sheriff’s Office is looking for deputies and dispatchers.  Traill County Sheriff Steve Hunt was asked if the openings are due to people leaving to work in larger cities or the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

When it comes to the dispatch job, Sheriff Hunt says they’ll train you.

Sheriff Hunt says working as a Sheriff’s Deputy will require more training than his office can provide.  He also says there’s an effort to raise the pay scale for dispatchers and deputies in Traill County.
