Project Linus Make a Blanket Day 

The Norman and Mahnomen County Project Linus chapters will be hosting their “Make a Blanket Day” at the Good News Fellowship Church in Gary on Saturday, September 23 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. Chapter representative Kay Oakland explains what Project Linus is and what the goal of the organization is.

Oakland also discussed “Make a Blanket Day” and how people interested can get involved. 

Over the years the Norman and Mahnomen County Chapter of Project Linus has done a lot to serve the area communities, and Oakland shared some numbers and a story about a person who was helped by Project Linus and how it affected them.
