Hillsboro School Referendum Tuesday
HILLSBORO, ND—Voters in Hillsboro will decide on a school referendum Tuesday. Hillsboro Public Schools is asking for an $11.8 million bond to pay for a new building near the elementary school for music classes, a high school career and tech center and consumer science classes; as well as renovations at the high school, including replacing the boiler; HVAC upgrades at the elementary school and a new drop-off and pick up lane for elementary students. The referendum must be approved by 60 percent of voters to pass. Voting starts at 7am and continues until 7pm at the Hillsboro High School Library.
