Odegaard deemed competent to proceed in Warren Murder case
Former Minnesota lawyer Anders Odegaard, who’s accused of beating his wife to death in front of their five young children, appeared in court on Monday following a competency evaluation.
After having his guilty plea withdrawn on Friday, August 11 Marshall County Judge Corey Harbott ordered that Odegaard undergo a psychological exam. After this examination doctors found Odegaard competent to proceed.
Odegaard is facing one count of second-degree murder for the murder of his ex wife Carissa Odegaard that happened back in August of 2022 near Warren.
A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for Saturday, November 7.
