One Injured In Two Vehicle Accident In Pennington County
A Thief River Falls man was injured in a two vehicle accident Wednesday in Pennington County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 66 year old Raymond Darwin Troy was injured when the 2006 Mack Tractor he was driving was struck by a 2011 GMC Sierra driven by 32 year old Henry James Jordan of Bagley. According to the State Patrol report, the Mack was northbound on Highway 59 attempting to turn left in North Township when he was struck from behind by the northbound GMC. Troy was taken to Thief River Falls Hospital and treated for injuries troopers at the scene described as non-life threatening. Jordan suffered no apparent injury. Both men were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident that was reported just before 10:30 am. Official say alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
